Our Crew
No one can do this alone. Without a solid crew behind us, we can't compete. Get to know our team and see how we all come together to make a complete unit.

CHRIS NORRIS
CREW CHIEF
Chris has been part of the team since 2012 when he and Nathan started collaborating on a race machine that Chris was racing at the Kentucky Motor Speeway. The following year, Chris retired from driving and took on the role of crew chief as he and Nathan started construction on Nathan's current car. He is an avid reader and student of all types of racing articles and is always looking to expand his knowledge to improve the handling and performance of the car. His mind never stops both on and off the track, thinking of new things to try. He is fiercely competetive which is a perfect fit for the team as we are ever striving to take this team to the next level.

WILLIAM THOMAS
CREWMAN
The most senior crewman, William Thomas has been with Conway Racing since the beginning. He started in much the same way Nathan did, learning from the ground up. Practical application, hands on experience, and a some trial and error along the way; William learned all he could about various parts and tools from engine building to welding. He eventually transitioned to driving, purchasing his first race car from Nathan. Taking his skill to the track, William has multiple wins under his belt and even a track championship in the Bomber Division. He has always lent a helping hand when needed and has proven himself to be an invaluable and integral part of the Conway Racing Team.

CHAD RAYMER
CREWMAN
Chad Raymer has always been a gearhead and loves to tinker with just about anything with an engine so racing was a natural fit for him. As a former driver himself, he quickly found success behind the wheel earning several wins and even a track championship in the Rusty Bolt Division. He does a lot of the heavy lifting when called upon for the team. He has one of the most level heads in the game and always lends his knowledge and ideas to keep pushing the team forward.

DOUGLAS POWERS
TOOL SPECIALIST
Douglas joined the time during the 2016 season and has been nothing less than a true asset to the crew. Prior to coming into the team, Doug had a working knowledge of tools and his two seasons of pit experience has proved to be invaluable to the weekly operation of this racing team. He's all in every time we head to the track and is always learning and finding new ways to make us better.

SARA CONWAY
WIFE
Sara and Nathan met in September 2010 and she quickly learned of his love of racing. With both she and her son fans of racing as well, she knew this was an incredible thing to have in common with him. When asked about her role as a valuable member of the crew she says, "I don’t do much other than try to be one of his biggest fans and cheer him on each time he is out there doing what he enjoys so much. He may not get to do it as much as he likes, but I am super proud of him with his demanding career, being a great husband and Dad. So yea I support him to do what he enjoys and seeing him happy doing it makes me happy as well."

WES LUALLEN
SOCIAL MEDIA / ADMINISTRATIVE
As the newest member of the team, Wes LuAllen has proved to be an amazing asset as he's helped build momentum and create an official brand for the racing team. He's eager to learn and continuing to school himself in all things racing to make sure he's helping Nathan and the team achieve all their goals. And as they say, no job is finished until the paperwork is done so it's great to have someone helping wrap things up.
